The following recipe for avocado fruit salad includes two of baby’s favourites; avocado and banana both soft and tasty fruits that contain a large amount of nutrients vital to baby’s growth and development.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 3 ripe bananas
- 3 steamed pears or apples
- 3 T plain natural yogurt
Method
Peel, seed and dice the fruits into the appropriate sizes for your child’s experience and abilities.
Serve avocado fruit salad in a bowl with a yogurt dollop on top
For a younger child or a fruit ‘dip’, place ingredients into a blender and puree until desired texture is achieved.
